Chamber of Garment Exporters AGM on Wednesday

The Sri Lanka Chamber of Garment Exporters (SLCGE) will hold the ‘Post Business Session’ of its 23rd Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, 11 January at 7:30 p.m. followed by cocktails at the Union Ballroom, Hilton Colombo Residencies, Colombo 2.  

The Chief Guest will be State Minister of International Trade Sujeewa Senasinghe while Joint Apparel Association Forum Chairman Sharad Amalean and MAS Holdings Deputy Chairman will grace this occasion as the Guest of Honour.

This important meeting will be attended by representatives from all other forums in the apparel industry, State officials, suppliers and internationally-reputed service providers related to the apparel industry in addition to its total membership.

There will also be a presentation on ‘Renewable Energy’ during the meeting. 

SLCGE was formed in 1992 with the objective of promoting and fostering the growth of small- and medium-scale apparel exporters in Sri Lanka. 

The members of the SLCGE  represent approximately 64 members who are engaged in large-scale manufacture and exports to a number of overseas buyers and markets, also cater to several international prestigious brand names in UK, USA, EU, Australia, Japan, Russian Federation, India, etc.
