ICE Technologies Ltd. was awarded the best HP Designjet printer business partner award for 2016 at the annual HP awards night which was held at Heritance Negombo recently.

It was also the only company recognised by HP with an incentive to travel to Japan with HP Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) Designjet winners for the Circle 2016 Conference. This prestigious recognition was awarded to ICE Technologies by HP for its sales performance which has recorded the best island-wide sales in the Designjet printer series category.

ICE Technologies was established in order to meet the growing demand for printers, consumables and software in the ICT and office automation industry. The company gains its strength from a team of dedicated personnel specialising in supplying Designjet printers for architects, engineering and construction industries (AEC).

The company was able to supply and widely distribute the first web-connected, entry-level printing solutions by HP for AEC students and professionals, making in-house, large-format printing accessible to more users.

HP Designjet T120, T520, T730, T830MFP ePrinter series provides on-the-go professionals with simple and affordable printing solutions, enabling large-format printing through the cloud system from virtually anywhere. The compact, 24-inch HP Designjet T120 ePrinter series is ideal for AEC students and freelancers, while the 24- and 36-inch HP Designjet T520, T730, T830MFP ePrinter series is designed for AEC teams in need of fast and professional printing.

With the announcement by HP of its second generation printing solutions, including mobile printing and free web service for AEC professionals, the HP Designjet is even more accessible using an iOS or Android tablet or smartphone, a laptop or ePrinter touch screen.

“Today’s economic environment is such that there are more and more freelancers, work from home options, small scale high end businesses that have shortened project times and require such persons and AEC students to be highly mobile, spending more than 50% of their time out of the office. The expanded HP Designjet portfolio helps our customers stay connected where ever the job takes them and allows users to easily meet all their printing needs – even large format – at home in an affordable manner,” said ICE Technologies Director/CEO A. Jayyaseelan, speaking after the award ceremony.

The HP Designjet T120, T520, T730 and T830MFP ePrinters are the only large-format printers available with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity and HP mobile printing.

ICE Technologies are dedicated partners of HP with trained staff able to direct customers to the right printing solution best suited for their individual needs. The company is also able to guide its customers to successfully use and manage their printing needs enhancing the efficiency of their organisation.

ICE Technologies is an authorised HP Business Partner, carrying a wide range of original HP and other reputed brand product portfolios ideal for all industries.

“We are proud to have received this honour and being recognised with this award gives us an additional reason to continue with our dedicated efforts in enabling industries to have advanced ICT capabilities and thereby developing our economy,” added Jayyaseelan.
