State Television Awards 2015

State Television Awards 2015 were organised by the Department of Cultural Affairs at the Colombo Nelumpokuna Auditorium recently. Three awards were won by Rupavahini and Eye Channel News Room. Tamil News Deputy Director Yakoob Ummarlebbe received the award for Best Tamil political Programme ‘Vellichcham,’ ‘Best Tamil News Presenter’ went to Rajnani Rajmohan and ‘Best English News Presenter’ was won by Sharon Mascarenhas. Former ITN Director Hassim Omar presented the award to Shakthi TV Best Programme Producer Shiyaul Hassan.
