SLT Rainbow Pages wins 3 awards at SLIM-NASCO 2016

SLT Rainbow Pages has once again shown its excellence in the sphere of sales, grabbing three awards at the 2016 National Sales Congress (NASCO) Awards presented by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM).

SLT Rainbow Pages which holds the unique position as Sri Lanka’s only National Business Directory published by SLT Publications Ltd., a fully-owned subsidiary of Sri Lanka Telecom Plc, was able to secure three awards at the above awards ceremony; the Gold and Silver awards in the Frontliner category of the media sector were won by Kalinga Nirosh and H. Rupasinghe respectively while Kalinga Nirosh went on to grab the Frontliner category overall Silver award too. Both winners represent the sales team of SLT Rainbow Pages and they have excelled in sales over the past years.

SLT Rainbow Pages General Manager – Sales and Marketing Ruwan Wijetunga noting this on this achievement asserted that he was very happy to see his teammates being recognised for their achievement by the country’s most prestigious marketing body – Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing – and he did not forget to convey his congratulations to the award winners. He went on to say that SLT Rainbow Pages was proud to have such a dynamic results-oriented sales team which is the lifeline of the organisation’s success. 

Speaking further, he said that the company has invested immensely on training and development as well as motivation of the workforce particularly the sales team, because of which, we have been able to create a dynamic results-oriented sales team leading to achievement of the organizational goals. 

“This is not the first time we have won NASCO awards; in the past too we have secured a number of NASCO awards and this time the overall frontline silver category award won by Kalinga Nirosh is the most significant victory we could achieve,” he added.

SLT Rainbow Pages CEO Malraj Balapitiya commenting on this achievement said that winning such prestigious awards was of paramount importance for the company. They will be a great motivation for the sales team to further fly high. 

“It is our dynamic sales team behind the company’s sustained growth,” he said while conveying his heartiest congratulations to the award winners. He added: “I’m grateful to Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing for organising such a fabulous awards ceremony to recognise the high-flying marketers of the country.”
