Brandix i3 and Infor present streamlined office of CFO at Power Breakfast

Brandix i3, the enterprise IT solutions subsidiary of the Brandix Group, together with global enterprise applications specialist Infor, hosted a number of CFOs at a Power Breakfast on 23 November. The event was led by Infor’s principal consultant on CFO Solutions, Jessie Teng. The event was titled ‘From Finance to Strategy: Unprecedented Insights for Decision Making’.

Teng discussed a number of pressing CFO challenges covering both Sri Lanka specific and regional trends, drawing from her 18+ years of professional experience in financial audit, performance management, enterprise resource planning and IT application consulting and integration across Asia. 

CEOs and CFOs demand better insights and easier compliance – but it was noted that is essential to streamline and automate finance processes to enable this. Current budgeting, forecasting and consolidation processes in many businesses suffer from lengthy and inefficient processes; which despite being tedious, sometimes output inaccurate or incomplete information.

The event concluded with a live demonstration of tablet and mobile based applications which are available to the public to trial with sample data on Android and Apple app stores as ‘Infor BI Dashboards’.
