Liyonta Tea Factory achieves all-time record price

Liyonta Tea Factory situated in Neluwa-Dangala achieved an all time record price of Rs. 870 for a Pekoe Grade in the Low grown elevation at this week’s tea auctions held on 30 November.

This line of tea was purchased by Ms. Ceylon Tenny Teas Ltd. and was channelled through Mercantile Produce Brokers Ltd. This factory proprietor is Ronnie Liyanage.
