MTD Walkers deploys SAP HANA and SAP CPM to boost growth strategy

Sri Lanka’s leading integrated infrastructure and engineering solutions provider MTD Walkers PLC recently deployed the SAP Business Suite on SAP HANA and SAP Commercial Project Management (SAP CPM) solutions to drive growth.

Strategic Group Information Technology (SGIT), an SAP Authorised services Partner and Value Added Reseller in Sri Lanka, implemented the SAP solutions at MTD Walkers. 

SAP Business Suite is powered by SAP HANA, unifying analytical and transactional applications onto a single in-memory platform. SAP CPM contains project financial planning capabilities, making it an excellent fit for engineering-to-order environments. The solution further integrates simultaneously with SAP ERP Project systems as well as all areas of SAP financial and cost accounting solutions. Through this implementation, MTD Walkers expects to increase project profitability, manage operational risk and maximise resource productivity.

MTD Walkers has also implemented SAP for Engineering, Construction and Operations (SAP EC&O), marking a significant implementation project in Sri Lanka completed by SGIT, the IT arm of John Keells Holdings PLC.
