NDB sponsor for 40-year celebration of Field Ornithology Group of Sri Lanka

NDB has extended its support to the Department of Zoology of the University of Colombo by being a sponsor for the 40 year celebration of the Field Ornithology Group of Sri Lanka. 

The Field Ornithology Group of Sri Lanka (FOGSL) is celebrating its 40th year with a series of events with the participation of international bodies and local government authorities. As part of this significant milestone the Asia Partnership Bird Fair will be held on 20 November together with bird watching tours, children’s art competition and a tree planting event at the Thalawathugoda Biodiversity Study Park. 

40 plants will be planted to commemorate the 40 years of the Field Ornithology Group of Sri Lanka by the Council Members of the Bird Life International, members of the Asia Regional Partners and other key dignitaries on that day.
