Mathura spices up dining with Bollywood music

The Mathura Madras Woodland Restaurant in Melbourne Avenue, Colombo has introduced a unique musical offering for its diners.

Part of the chain of New Woodlands Hotels, Chennai, Bangalore and Singapore, the Madras Woodland Restaurant has come up with a new menu. It has launched a Thali promotion and special South Indian serving as well as North Indian cuisine. Cost per person ranges from Rs. 450 and Rs. 550 plus service charge. Discount of 10% is offered for bills over Rs. 2,000.

In terms of music, during November there will be theme nights featuring melodies of Mukesh and Raj Kapoor and Asha Boselly, Latha, Shammi Kapoor and Devanand, Kishore Kumar, Vyjanthimala and Madubala among others.
