Associated Motorways Ltd. (AMW), sole agents for Yamaha in Sri Lanka, launched the upgraded versions of the Ray ZR ’The Uncommon Ride, and Saluto, at the Colombo Motor Show 2016, held recently in the presence of Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake.

AMW Group Managing Director Samantha Rajapaksa, Passenger Vehicles Director Yohann De Zoysa, Yamaha General Manager Shehann De Zoysa and Yamaha Sales and Operations Manager Zahran Ziyawudeen were also present.

The Yamaha Ray ZR, with a distinctive, stylishly rugged and muscular design, makes the rider stand out, and boasts a fuel efficiency of 66 kmpl churned out by evolutionary Bluecore technology. The 5.2-litre fuel tank amply covers just about any distance on a busy day. The upgraded Ray ZR presents excellent braking performance, with greater safety for riders and passengers. The Yamaha Saluto took Sri Lanka’s roads by storm, with the country’s first 125CC engine with Bluecore technology. The Saluto offers best-in-class ride comfort and fuel efficiency with a whopping 78 Kmpl, which is miles ahead of the competition.
