Dunsinane and Mt. Vernon Estates set new record!

Dunsinane Estate, Punduloya achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 520 for a BP1 grade in the Western High Grown CTC category at the Weekly Tea Auctions held on 19 October, bettering its previous record set last week. Dunsinane is a Rainforest Alliance, ISO 22000 – food, safety and hygiene management standard certified factory managed by M/s Elpitiya Plantations PLC. The above line was purchased by M/s Zenra Teas Ltd. and was marketed by M/s Forbes & Walker (Tea Brokers) Ltd. 

Mt. Vernon Estate, Patana also bettered its previous record price and set a new all-time record price of Rs. 520 for a BP1 grade in the Western High Grown CTC category at the Weekly Tea Auctions held on 19 October. This line of tea was purchased by M/s Zenra Teas Ltd. and was marketed by M/s Forbes & Walker (Tea Brokers) Ltd. Mt. Vernon estate is certified under ISO 22000 – food, safety and hygiene management standard and is managed by M/s Kotagala Plantations PLC.
