Ceybank Asset Management Ltd (Ceybank AML) recently conducted an investor forum at the Sri Lankan Consulate in Los Angeles, for the benefit of the Sri Lankan expatriate and business community resident in California.

Chairman of Ceybank AML, Palitha Pelpola spoke on the investment opportunities available in the Sri Lankan financial markets, and how Sri Lankans living abroad could benefit from it, while contributing to the country’s growth.

The Forum was co-sponsored by the Sri Lankan Consulate along with Ceybank AML and was graced by the Consul General of Sri Lanka in Los Angeles Swarna Gunaratne. An active discussion followed Pelpola’s presentation which introduced the Equity Market, and also Ceybank Managed unit trusts, as a conduit to access these markets.

“The response of the Sri Lankan community in LA in investing in Sri Lanka was extremely positive, and it was evident that is renewed interest in the developments in the country. Ceybank is delighted to be part of a dialog that focused on the potential investment in Sri Lanka” Chairman Pelpola said.
