37th National Conference of Chartered Accountants

The 37th National Conference of Chartered Accountants themed ‘Unleashed Thinking: Entrepreneurship and Intrapreneurship’ organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) was ceremoniously inaugurated on 19 October under the patronage of Development Strategies and International Trade Minister Malik Samarawickrama and World Bank Country Director Idah Z. Pswarayi-Riddihough. Indian Institute of Management Bangalore Prof. K. Kumar delivered the keynote address at the conference. Recognised as one of the country’s leading corporate events, the conference this year attracted over 1,600 participants including business leaders and decision makers at BMICH, apart from a larger number of participants who connected via webcast. -Pix by Sameera Wijesinghe
