DFCC Bank celebrates World Children’s Day across branch network

DFCC Bank celebrated World Children’s Day on 8 October by hosting an art competition at each of its regional branch offices island wide. Based on the theme ‘Growth’, the competition was open to children between the ages of 6 and 12.  

There was a high level of participation with over 150 children taking part and this was a great opportunity for the bank to engage with the community.  

The top three winners were judged by the senior management in each region; in some instances inviting prominent personalities from the community to be a part of the judging panel. They were awarded Vardhana Junior accounts with an initial deposit of Rs. 10,000, Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 2,500 respectively. Participants also received gift packs and certificates of participation.
