ReadMe.lk, Sri Lanka’s premier technology news website and E FM Your Lifestyle Station, signed a partnership recently and launched Tech News on E FM’s News segment Live @ E. With this venture, E FM becomes the first radio station in Sri Lanka to share tech news as part of its prime time news.

Founded in 2012, ReadMe has gained popularity in the IT industry for providing unbiased news based on tech developments in Sri Lanka and across Asia. Ranging from hardware reviews to event coverage, which includes conferences and hackathons to opinion pieces about the tech and ICT industry, ReadMe has been at the forefront for the latest in Sri Lanka’s tech scene.

Speaking about the venture, the founders of ReadMe, Andrew Jebaraj and Enosh Praveen in a joint statement said, “We couldn’t think of a better partner than E FM to execute this venture with. We are confident that with this partnership coupled with the high-quality content our writers produce, will reach an even wider audience. Without a doubt, this will increase awareness and bring even greater recognition to the Sri Lankan IT industry.”

Commenting, EBC Radio Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer Chalaka Gajabahu said, “We are proud to have partnered with ReadMe to have this new segment during Live@E on prime time news. The team at E FM is constantly thinking of ways to raise the benchmark and provide our listeners with more value added services. The Sri Lankan tech industry is constantly growing and evolving. Every day there are new stories of world-class innovations and achievements by talented people in Sri Lanka. Today, E FM is well known in Sri Lanka, not only for their best mix of music but also as the home of the most popular radio personalities in the country. These personalities create amazing content on E FM daily, which is broadcast live on 88.3FM in Colombo, Kandy and Down South. As its catchphrase ‘Your Lifestyle Station’ suggests, E FM is the radio station that caters to every lifestyle.
