The Student Committee of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Sri Lanka 2016 strongly believes in uplifting lives of people and drawing a smile on their faces.

On 29 October it will conduct a social motive themed ‘SMILE’. The committee members will visit less privileged children at a junior school in Kurunegala District, where the team will engage with the students and provide the school and the students with basic educational needs. Infrastructure development and various fun filled events will be a part of this initiative. The committee will also entertain, inspire and take a step closer in brightening up their lives to create sustainability of the service.

Student Committee President Malithi Herath said: “We as a team are quite enthusiastic and geared up to drive this initiative. We look forward to improving the education facilities of these children, change their lives and brighten them up with a SMILE.”

Project Chairpersons Ashane Wadasinghe and Avanthi Perera stated: “It is a great privilege and honour to be a part of this social initiative and give back to the society in the best way we could.”
