Ogilvy Public Relations wins Sri Lanka’s first In2SABRE

Ogilvy Public Relations Sri Lanka celebrates a triumphant win at this year’s Asia Pacific SABRE Awards, being the first PR agency in the country to win an In2SABRE.

The PR firm won the award in the Public Service Announcement category for ‘The Vote Scam’ campaign carried out for Verite Research, which received praise from the judging panel, winning Sri Lanka, its first ever SABRE Award.

The agency also emerged a finalist in the Public Education Category for a Gold Award, for the same campaign.

The In2 SABREs recognise excellence in various categories of innovation and insight, with an emphasis on content creation as well as PR agency management and marketing. The SABRE Awards, which attracts close to 5,000 entries globally each year, is the premier showcase for the best that public relations has to offer, celebrating winning work.

Ogilvy PR Asia Pacific overall won big at the 2016 Asia-Pacific SABRE Award, snapping up 9 Gold SABRE Awards, 3 In2SABRE wins and 5 Certificates of Excellence.

The winners were announced at the 2016 SABRE awards event recently at the Island Shangri-La Hotel in Hong Kong, where top PR firms and professionals came together to celebrate the best the industry has to offer.
