Saegis Campus ties up with Deakin University

Saegis University Campus, a sister institution of Sakya Education Group recently joined hands with Australia’s Deakin University to bring world class education to Sri Lanka. Located in Nugegoda, the fully equipped, government approved modern campus endeavours to produce globally employable, highly skilled graduates who are sought after by employers. 

With only 17% of those who qualify for university education gaining admission to state universities, each year thousands of qualified students are forced to abandontheir dreams of entering a state university. Saegis Campus has been established with the intention of filling up this void, and to make quality tertiary education a possibility for all students. 

Deakin University remains the most popular choice amongst Sri Lankan students who choose Australia for their higher studies. Saegis Campus now provides pathways to several high-demand degrees offered by Deakin University. After successful completion of two years of studies at Saegis Campus, the students can choose to complete the degrees of Bachelor of Commerce in Management, Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Planning and Bachelor of Commerce in Business Analytics at Deakin University. At present, the students have the choice of completing these degrees by studying a minimum of one calendar year (in three trimesters) at Deakin University in Australia.
