TW Ship Management appointed as exclusive agents to represent Colombo Dockyard in India

On 2 September TW Ship Management Ltd. Mumbai, a member of the Transworld Group of companies entered into agreement with Colombo Dockyard PLC to represent the shipyard as exclusive agents in the territory of India. 

Colombo Dockyard PLC, a Colombo stock exchange listed Board of Investment approved company operating in collaboration with Onomichi Dockyard Co. Ltd., Japan has been a major ship repair, building and offshore engineering service provider to the Indian Subcontinent over the past four decades.  

Indian repair and building market has been one Colombo Dockyard’s major markets, joining hands with TW Ship Management, a well-respected and established operation with an expansive reach across entire Indian which will give Colombo Dockyard the much needed penetration in this highly competitive industry.

In pursuing the ‘Odyssey of Excellence’ this partnership will strive to provide a professional level of service to the Indian market, reaching the owners/managers more frequently and providing a premium service package to the client. The technical/commercial strength brought in with TW Ship Management partnership will also benefit the client in the longer run.
