Mobil Brand Ambassadors celebrate podium finishes

Mobil Brand Ambassadors Dinesh Jayawardana and SheharaJayawardana continued their good run over last weekend’s gravel races during the Gajabaha Super Cross 2016, in Anuradhapura.

SheharaJayawardana who qualified in pole position on Saturday started off well holding off some stiff competition from IrfanFuard. However, young Fuard managed to overtake Shehara and go on to win the SL-H up to 1618 event whilst ZakirWahab finished second and Shehara completed the race after some stiff competition from her fellow competitors, in third.

Dinesh Jayawardana who qualified fourth had a brilliant start in the SL-GT upto 3500cc Race 1 event. He managed to work his way into second place and hold his position behind race winner Ushan Perera.

In Race 2, Jayawardana went on to challenge race leader, and eventual winner, Ushan Perera but ended up in third place after some exciting battles with Ushan and Pasindu who finished first and second respectively.

Overall another exciting and successful weekend of racing for team Mobil.
