Sri Lanka Women’s outfit expecting better results on Hong Kong tour

Untitled-2The Sri Lanka Women’s rugby outfit under RandikaKumudumali left for Hong Kong last night in order to participate at the Asian Rugby Sevens 2016 first leg which will take place at Causeway Bay in Hong Kong on 2 and 3September. This will be the first leg of the Asian Series which will move later on to South Korea and the last leg in Sri Lanka in mid-October. 

Sri Lanka will need to end on top 7 in the series out of 8 teams if to avoid any relegation for the next year’s event. Sri Lanka will play in Group D along with China, Thailand and Uzbekistan in the group stages on the initial day. The team is once again sponsored by South Asian Gateway Terminals (SAGT) Ltd.
