FITIS concludes ICT Industry Cricket Championship 2016

Sri Lanka’s ICT Industry Cricket Championship 2016 concluded very successfully at P Sara Oval Grounds recently. This event was organised by the Hardware Chapter of Federation of IT Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS) for the 11th consecutive year.  

Power Net Ltd. was the Champions of the ICT Industry Cricket Championship 2016 while IT Gallery Computers Ltd. was the 1st runner up and ABC Computers Ltd. was the 2nd runner up at the tournament.  

The day and night match is a very popular event among the ICT industry in Sri Lanka. More than 112 teams took part representing various ICT companies and more than 4,000 visitors were attracted to the event. It also featured more glamour with an ICT Queen Contest, and DJ music giving greater enjoyment for the visitors and participants this time.

Samson Information Technologies Ltd. was the Main Sponsor and Avian Technologies Ltd. joined hands as the IT Security Partner. In addition IT Gallery Computers Ltd., Tech One Global Ltd. and Sense Micro Distributors were Silver Sponsors and Barclays Computers Ltd. was the Bronze Sponsor for the FITIS Cricket Tournament2016. Ninehearts Imaging Ltd. teamed up as the Official Photographer Partner and SLASSCOM was the Industry Partner this year.
