Rs. 516 m for partially completed infrastructure development projects

The Government is planning to allocate Rs. 516.8 million for partially completed construction projects, it was revealed at a cabinet decision briefing on Wednesday.

The Cabinet has approved the proposal made by Megapolis and Western Development Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka concerning the allocation.

Accordingly, construction of the Battaramulla Polduwa bypass road, drainage improvement in Imaduwa town, construction of the Tangalle and Angunakolapelessa commercial complexes and the Middeniya town development will be restarted via the allocation by the Urban Development Authority.

In addition, the Government expects to complete the construction of the Lunugamwehera and Walasmulla bus stands through funds from the Hambantota District Secretariat.
