The Flemington luxury condominiums launched in Rajagiriya

Melbourne based Property developer EliSh Development Ltd, recently unveiled their plans of constructing the luxury condominium complex, The Flemington, located on Nawala road in Rajagiriya.

The Flemington is a medium rise condominium six storeys high with a total of 30 apartments, 5 apartments situated on each floor.

In terms of price, the total cost of each apartment varies between Rs. 29 million and Rs 35 million. The initial reservation fee is Rs. 500,000 and the remainder can be paid on a 23 month installment scheme.

EliSh Development Managing Director Shamitha Ganegoda stated that the project draws from the company’s desire to bring modern Australian living paradigms to Colombo.

“The Flemington was born out of the vision of sharing global living experiences with my fellow Sri Lankans,” said Ganegoda.

Inspired by Melbourne’s prestigious racing culture, the apartments will be designed by the award winning architect Darnie Rajapakse of Jungle Beach by Uga.

Each apartment will be furnished with three bedrooms including a master bedroom complete with a walk-in closet, bathrooms en-suite, three balconies and a separate domestic entrance and bathrooms. The complex will have access to parking, 24 hour security and CCTV footage, as well as the added benefits of separate swimming pools for both adults and children, a gym, rooftop entertainment pods, Australian style open BBQ facilities, a function room and a club house. 

“Each condominium has been designed to encapsulate everything you would need in terms of comfort, convenience and style,” Ganegoda stressed.

Elaborating on the choice of the location Ganegoda emphasised that the Flemington will be situated just 500m from Colombo city and is close to a few leading schools such as Gateway College, several restaurants and hotels and three key hospitals; Asiri surgical, Ninewells and Oasis.

He also added that construction for a new shopping mall and a fly over in the area are about to begin, as well the proposal of a key highway project, all which will make the living environment more convenient for the residents  and exponentially reduce the traffic and congestion.

For this project EliSh has partnered with engineering consultant Dayananda Associates and NK Construction.
