Sampath Bank continued its ‘Pahe Sishyathwa’ initiative with the successful completion of its fourth seminar for Grade 5 Scholarship students.

Held on 2 July at Dharmaraja College in Kandy, the highly-anticipated workshop saw a sizable attendance of more than 1,150 students who are scheduled to sit for this year’s Grade Five Scholarship Examination in August.

Sampath Bank conducted another workshop for over 500 parents simultaneously with the ‘Pahe Shisyathwa’ seminar. The event addressed the importance of financial stability and saving.

Having conducted seminars across the island, Sampath Bank continues to build on this significant success through the overwhelming response and appreciation gained for its ‘Pahe Sishyathwa’ program. The seminar series is open to all students and is completely free of charge.

During the seminars, select panels of expert tutors discuss two model exam papers with the students, explaining how to best decipher various questions and develop effective answers while also offering tips on time management and shortcut method questions.

Following the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination, Sampath Bank will reward its student accountholders and their schools at this year’s exam with substantial cash prizes amounting to several lakhs.

The upcoming workshops in the ‘Pahe Sishyathwa’ seminar series will be held on 30 July in Ampara and 6 August in Badulla.
