Speakers from top notch global firms, public sector to share insights at Sri Lanka Economic Summit

 Untitled-5Successful leaders of acclaimed global firms such as Google, McKinsy& Company, AirBnB, DERTOUR, Shangri-La Hotels and Pemandu Malaysia and high profile public officials of foreign countries are lined up to share their expertise at the upcoming Sri Lanka Economic Summit 2016.

Among the speakers would be Pemandu Malaysia CEO Dato Sri Idris Jala, Dialogue and Development Commission of Delhi Member GajendraHaldea, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy Associate Professor Prof Razeen Sally, Shangri-La Hotels Untitled-4Executive Vice President Michael Cottan, Google India Managing Director Rajan Anandan, AirBnB Public Policy Affairs of Asia Director Mike Orgill, DER Touristik, Germany Vice President of Intercontinental Travel Jorn Krausser, Tourism Australia Director Andrew Fairley, Duxton Asset Management Managing Director Desmond Sheehy, McKinsy & Company Expert Partner Steve Saxon, and Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia Deputy Secretary-General Dr Mohd Gazali Abas. Some of them will deliver the keynote speeches at different sessions, while the rest will join the expert panelists, who will engage in panel discussions, across the two days of the summit, which attracts the cream of the country’s corporate sector as participants.

President Maithripala Sirisena will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest of the event, which will be held on 2 and 3 August at the Cinnamon Grand and is organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.

Over 350 CEOs/senior executives to take part at ‘Sri Lanka Economic Summit’ 

Over 350 CEOs/senior executives representing the Sri Lankan corporate sector have so far registered to take part in the Sri Lanka Economic Summit 2016. Among the registered include CEOs, Managing Directors and Chairmen of blue chip firms, and also the ones heading small to medium scale organisations operating in the country.

The two day event, which is organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, is the biggest economic related event to take place annually in Sri Lanka. This year’s event will feature 50 resource persons, both foreign and local and they will speak across the seven sessions of the summit, which is set to be conducted under the theme: FOCUS. ACT. DELIVER. Some of Sri Lanka’s top tier corporate firms have put their weight behind the upcoming Economic Summit, which is being held for the 17th consecutive year.
