The Colombo High Court yesterday informed respondents of the inquiry into the killing of rugby player Wasim Thajudeen to appear before Court on 8 September.

The Court issued the order by considering the revision bail application filed on behalf of former Senior DIG Anura Senanayake, who has been arrested, over the inquiry into the murder of Thajudeen.

Accordingly, OIC Ravindra Wimalasiri, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Director, and the Attorney General have been ordered to appear before Court as the respondents of the case.
