Ehime Prefecture Promotion at Ikoi Tei Restaurant

Untitled-2 Untitled-3Ehime prefecture is situated in the northwestern part of Shikoku, Japan. “Ehime” means lovely princess and it indicates the beautiful warm climate, and this area is enriched with beautiful nature. Ehime culture and history is famous for their traditional warm hospitality. Fishermen and sailors play a vital role in this area thus making seafood very popular. 

Ikoi Tei Japanese restaurant located at the Dutch Hospital Precinct will give Japanese food lovers a taste of Ehime prefecture through a carefully selected menu by the Japanese master chef himself, Chef Hikaru Takahashi from 28 to 30 July from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Lunch) and 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. (Dinner)

The  , comprises dishes made using Ehime ingredients, such as Jakoten,  paste made out of small fish and fried, Jakokatsu, another variation of Jakoten which is fried with panko (bread crumbs) , Tai-meshi a Japanese rice seasoned with Japanese ingredients and the ever famous Blood Orange juice. Ingredients for this promotion are flown in from Ehime by the Ehime Prefectural government and this reasonably priced unique menu could be enjoyed during the promotion. 

This “chilled out” Japanese restaurant, Ikoi Tei opened its doors in December 2015 serving authentic Japanese cuisine and Japanese beverages. The warm, cozy ambiance has gained much popularity amongst the local and foreign diners.
