‘Dalai Lama in Frames’ photo exhibition to mark 81st birthday of Buddhist leader

‘Dalai Lama in Frames’ Photo Exhibition was recently held at Queen’s Hotel Kandy to mark the 81st birthday of the world Buddhist leader the 14th Dalai Lama. The photos depicting the Dalai Lama’s endless compassion and contribution to global peace were exhibited at the event. Here the Governor, Central Province Niluka Ekanayake, Chief Minister Sarath Ekanayake, the Chief Custodian of the Dalada Maligawa Nilanga Dela Bandara and the former liaisons officer, from the government of India, to the Dalai Lama Madam Radha Venkataraman are watching the photos. 

This event was organised by the Sri Lankan Tibetan Buddhist Brotherhood Society under patronage of maha sangha including Most Venerable Dr. Ittapana Dhammalankara Mahanayake Thero, Most Venerable Dr. Anamaduwe Dhammadassi Anu Nayake Thero, Most Venerable Aluthgama Dhammananda Nayake Thero and Most Venerable Urulewatte Dhammarakkhitha Nayake Thero.
