Awards ceremony to felicitate Tea Board employees with over 25 years of service

The Sri Lanka Tea Board decided to organise an award ceremony to felicitate its employees who count more than 25 years of service as at 31 December 2015 at the Auditorium of Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management at 1 p.m. on 14 July.

Minister of Plantation Industries Navin Dissanayake will be the chief guest of the occasion while Deputy Minister of Plantation Industries Lakshman Wasantha Perera will be participating at the event as the Guest of Honour. 

At this ceremony over 50 employees of the Sri Lanka Tea Board who have completed continuous service of 25 years or more will receive a Gold Sovereign for their noble contribution for the development of the tea industry, while working at the Tea Board.

The Ministry of Plantation Industries Secretary together with senior officials, former chairmen/chairpersons have also been invited to grace the occasion.
