People’s Bank offers Heel Dana to 25,000 devotees observing Sil at Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, Anuradhapura

People’s Bank along with People’s Leasing and Finance came together to provide breakfast to 25,000 devotees observing Sil at Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi in Anuradhapura once again. 

The Poson almsgiving (Heel Dana) was organised by the Buddhist Society of People’s Bank’s Anuradhapura Region, whilst being sponsored by the staff members of People’s Bank and People’s Leasing and Finance.  

This almsgiving was held with the patronage of Venerable Doctor Pallegama Sirinivasa Thero, whilst People’s Bank and People’s Leasing and Finance Chairman Hemasiri Fernando, People’s Bank CEO/ General Manager N. Vasantha Kumar, People’s Leasing and Finance CEO/General Manager D.G. Kumarage, senior members of the management and staff graced the event.
