People’s Bank conducts Poson Bakthi Gee

Staff members of People’s Bank hosted ‘Bakthi Gee’ for the 11th time on Poson Poya. The event was held adjacent to the Ruwanveli Maha Seya in Anuradhapura. 

The five groups singing Bakthi Gee comprised of members in branches situated in the North Central, Central, Uva Regions as well as members of the People’s Bank Arts Circle and singers of Tamil language ‘Bodhu Gee’. The music was directed and composed by renowned musician Karunaratne Wijewardena.

The Bakthi Gee was held under the patronage of Ven. Pallegama Hemarathne Thero – Chief Incumbent, Ruwanveli Maha Seya whilst People’s Bank Chairman Hemasiri Fernando, People’s Bank CEO/General Manager N. Vasantha Kumar and senior members of the management and staff graced the event.
