Eel is a type of fish which lives mostly in shallow waters. It could be prepared in many ways, but the Japanese preparation is one of the famous preparations of all time. The succulent fish is grilled and bathed in a sweet and salty thick sauce which is called Unagi Don. Ikoi Tei Restaurant located at the Dutch Hospital Precinct is having an eel promotion from 11 to 17 July prepared by their Japanese Chef Hikaru Takahashi.

This promotion will guarantee the diners authentic, tasteful eel dishes such as grilled eel with soy sauce seasoning on steamed rice, grilled eel Chawanmushi (egg custard), Japanese rolled omelette with grilled eel and the list goes on. Chef Hikaru who is passionate about his cuisine is excited to serve his guests these delicious dishes. Don’t forget to check out the extensive beverage list at IkoiTei with Japanese inspired cocktails too. The promotion is on during lunch and dinner (11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.).

Ikoi Tei is the newest restaurant at the Dutch Hospital which opened its doors last December. The chill-out ambiance is becoming a favourite place for guests to enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine in the heart of the city.
