Sugar Bistro launches Gourmet Burger Feast

Sugar Bistro, located in the up-market Crescat Boulevard Shopping Mall in the heart of Colombo’s shopping district, is home to a relaxed dining experience and great service with a menu that includes hearty dishes from around the globe, including the renowned Sugar Burger.

Everyone has a different idea of what makes the best burger. Is it a thin patty or a thick one? Medium rare or medium well? Cheese or no cheese? Thankfully from 7 July till the end of the month, Sugar Bistro will be adding a host of specialty burgers to its existing, delicious and much loved range, catering to every taste.

The burger, America’s quintessential comfort food, can now be enjoyed at Sugar Bistro in an impossibly endless number of ways. All the burgers can be ordered with either a chicken or beef patty and are served in different buns including brioche, sesame seed and crusty Italian, to name a few. 

There is the New Yorker, an outrageously delicious burger, its juicy patty topped with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, button mushrooms, pizza sauce and sautéed onions and served in a crusty Italian bun.

The super flavourful Macho, Nacho topped with cheddar cheese, tortilla chips, pickled jalapeños, lettuce, sliced red onions, black olives, tomato salsa, guacamole and served in a knot bun.

A must-order burger is the New Orleans – a veritable delight for the taste buds, this excellent burger comes with Swiss cheese, fried prawns, English mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, aioli, mayonnaise with crusty French bun.

The Sugar Bistro Gourmet Burger Feast has a choice of 12 handcrafted speciality burgers, each one with unique flavours. All burgers can be ordered with delicious sides like fried mac and cheese, onion rings and cheesy chunky chips at Rs. 1,100++. 

Sugar Bistro offers more than just gourmet burgers, you can set yourself up for the day with its signature breakfast, grab a quick fish and chips or crab kottu for lunch, or enjoy a lazy sit down over a perfectly cooked juicy steak or a selection of tapas with a glass of fine wine in the evening.
