NOLIMIT refurbishes ward No. 3 at Kurunegala Teaching Hospital under ‘Aseemitha’

NOLIMIT, ceremoniously inaugurated the refurbished ward of the Kurunegala Teaching Hospital recently. The refurbishment was implemented under NOLIMIT’s CSR initiative, ‘Aseemitha’, which focuses on touching lives through limitless passion. Prior to refurbishing the ward, NOLIMIT has assisted other hospitals such as District General Hospital in Negombo, De Soysa Hospital, Maharagama Cancer Hospital, Panadura Base Hospital and the Kalubowila Hospital to improve their healthcare infrastructure. 

NOLIMIT’s CSR initiative, Aseemitha’s overarching objectives include healthcare, childcare, education, culture and sports. The aim of Aseemitha is to infuse passion into all its projects so as to have a positive impact on society. The Ministry of Health is also engaged in this project and commends the improvement in facilities and improved outlook for the ward as a result of NOLIMIT’s intervention. ” Kurunegala Teaching Hospital Deputy Director/Acting Director Dr. Chandana Kandangamuwa adds: “We are grateful to the NOLIMIT team for volunteering to refurbish this ward as it needed urgent improvement. NOLIMIT has done a wonderful job with the refurbishment and that too, achieved in a short time with minimum inconvenience to patients. More importantly, they ensured they didn’t intervene in the daily routine of the hospital staff. Further, NOLIMIT has generously offered to maintain the ward from here on along with implementing 5S quality standards. We wish NOLIMIT success in their CSR and business ventures.”
