Nestlé hosts zonal Food Conference for Out-of-Home business in Sri Lanka

Nestlé Professional, Nestlé’s Out-of-Home business that provides culinary and beverage solutions to the restaurant and food service industries, is hosting its 2016 zonal Food Conference for Asia, Oceania and Africa in Sri Lanka this week. 

The conference takes place from 20 to 24 June and will have delegates from over 22 countries, including Peter Amon – Head of Food for Nestlé Professional worldwide and Jeroen Pluijmers – Regional Business Head for Nestlé Professional in Asia, Oceania and Africa. The delegation will discuss global strategic direction and best practices, and formulate region-specific execution strategies. 

This is the first time Nestlé is hosting this particular event in Sri Lanka and the second time the company is hosting a global event in the country. Sri Lanka was chosen as a host destination for the conference because it is a dynamic and growing market for Nestlé Professional in the region.

Nestlé Professional is an integral part of Sri Lanka’s Out-of-Home food and beverages industry and partners with local professionals in sharing its knowledge and experience as food and beverage experts. They are market leaders in the local Out-of-Home industry, with an ambition to inspire their partners’ growth with branded, creative profitable solutions that are ‘Making More Possible’.
