Singapore Airlines has further enhanced the benefits of its KrisFlyer frequent flyer program by enabling KrisFlyer miles to be used for purchases on KrisShop.com, the online portal of Singapore Airlines’ flagship inflight retail store.

From today, KrisFlyer miles can be used to pay for KrisShop items in full, or in part alongside cash, subject to a minimum of 3,000 miles per transaction. Members can also earn KrisFlyer miles when they make payment with a mix of miles and cash, on the amount paid with their credit or debit card.

To mark the launch, a range of exclusive offers will be available for KrisFlyer members who redeem their miles on KrisShop.com from now until 15 June.

“We are committed to rewarding our customers for their loyalty, and are pleased to further enhance the benefits for our KrisFlyer members with even more options for miles to be redeemed, both on ground and in the air,” said Singapore Airlines Senior Vice President Marketing Planning Lee Wen Fen.

KrisFlyer is Singapore Airlines Group’s frequent flyer program. KrisFlyer members can earn miles when they travel on Singapore Airlines, SilkAir, Scoot, Tigerair as well as 30 other partner airlines. KrisFlyer also collaborates extensively with over 170 non-airline partners worldwide ranging from banks to hotels, travel services and retail, so members can continue to earn miles for rewards even when they are not flying.

KrisShop is Singapore Airlines’ inflight retail store. It offers a wide selection of over 250 products, ranging from duty-free liquors, skincare, travel essentials and exclusive mementos inspired by the signature batik kebaya of the Singapore Girl.
