Fully-loaded Exide powered up Fox Hill Supercross 2016

Exide was the official battery partner at this year’s Fox Hill Supercross event held in Diyatalawa on 24 April. The company was part of the thrilling event amongst tough competition with longstanding and well reputed racers and riders in this sporting arena. Some of the best and daring driving skills were witnessed on the track.

Both racers Aravinda Premadasa and Tyron Hendawitharana finished off the race with Second Runner-up positions at the Group SL – GT cars up to 3500cc and Group SL – H Subaru Legacy 2200cc respectively. The fully equipped motor racing team consisted of only two skilled drivers; Aravinda Premadasa and Tyron Hendawitharana.

The event was organised by the Sri Lanka Military Academy in coordination with the Sri Lanka Auto Sports Drivers Association (SLADA). The event attracted a participation of around 149 riders and 190 drivers in 24 events. More than 25,000 spectators were present to witness the races this year.
