Tiny Town comes to town!

Want your kids to have a good time in a clean, safe and enjoyable environment while you relax? Want to be stress-free while your kid could have their very own themed/customised birthday party being celebrated in style? 

Well, you can now do all of that at Tiny Town, the latest fun-filled indoor playground and party centre for children. 

Located down in Pannipitiya Road, Battaramulla, the centre is dedicated to providing a safe, secure and stimulating play environment for children under the age of 10. The centre is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and opens on weekends from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.  In addition to an indoor playground, various party packages are provided at attractive prices and customised birthday parties can be arranged. 

Tiny Town was set up by two parents with small kids (less than five years) who noticed that there were very  few places out there where kids could just be kids – no touch-phones, no play stations, no laptops, etc. As working moms, they also knew how hard it is to find time and a convenient time and place for their kids to play outside home.  The weather condition these days does not make it any easier for parents with kids, especially toddlers.

Tiny Town has a separate area for crawlers and toddlers (kids less than four years), where crawlers can explore and play without being overwhelmed by older children. The kids will have baby toys, furniture and books which will enrich their early development. 

For older kids there is the main playhouse which has an imaginary play corner, where kids can be whoever they want, and a costume corner, where they can dress up as whoever they want. There is also a reading corner, for kids who enjoy reading. This helps kids to unleash their creativity, develop their imagination and be themselves. At Tiny Town, they can be as ‘creative’ as they want. 

Another hit is the jungle gym where kids can just go crazy running, climbing, diving into the ball pit and jumping on – yes, wait for it – the mini trampoline! They are definitely going to have a blast and parents don’t have to worry since they will be watched at all times.

While kids are having the time of their life, parents can also enjoy some rare free time in the waiting area, where they can socialise with other parents, use the internet via free Wi-Fi or indulge in a range of in-house magazines. See... it’s not just kids who can be happy at Tiny Town!

Today’s kids are very particular about their choice of superheroes, and Disney cartoon characters and other well-loved characters. They are so in love with these characters that having a customised themed birthday party is almost a necessity. Parents often have to run around to find the decorations, plates, balloon and food.
