Lyceum Nuwara Eliya wins District Netball Championship

Kalugampitiya, Exams Coordinator M.M. Wimalasekara, Deputy Sports Coordinator Janaka Roya, Coach Harshani Weerasinghe and the Sports Secretary Ruwani Johanna

The under 15 Netball Team of Lyceum International School Nuwara Eliya won the Champions Trophy of Netball at the Annual Inter School District Meet 2016 held in the Municipal Grounds recently, which was organised by the Zonal Education Department of Nuwara Eliya, which was graced by a larger gathering of public, where the parents of the Champions praised the encouragement of the Coordinating Principal of the School, Kumari Grero and Director Nikitha Grero.  

Lyceum Netball Team had been unbeaten having won all the matches in the series, from the First Round, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and Finals, where 27 Schools participated at the Tournament.
