European Parliament delegation discusses security situation in north with Jaffna Commander

A European Union Parliamentary delegation, led by Member of the European Parliament and Chairman of the Friends of Sri Lanka Group Geoffrey Van Orden, and including MEP Morten Messerschmidt, called on the newly-appointed Commander of Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) Major General Mahesh Senanayake on Wednesday (10).

The delegation, engaged in a tour in the Jaffna peninsula, had a cordial meeting with the Jaffna Commander, the Army said.
