‘Ease of Doing Business’ forum today

The Ministry of Finance will be holding the sixth forum of the ‘Ease of Doing Business’ today 3 February at 2 p.m. at the 4th Floor Auditorium of MILODA, Academy of Financial Studies, (Old Times Building), Sir Razik Fareed Mawatha, Colombo 1. 

Since May 2015, the Ministry of Finance has held five forums and the sixth forum scheduled for today will be chaired by the Honorable Ravi Karunanayake, Minister of Finance. He will be joined by Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishad Bathiudeen, Minister of Development Strategy and International Trade Malik Samarawickrama, Minister of Public Enterprise Development Kabir Hashim, State Minister of Finance Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena and Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran. Treasury Secretary Dr. R.H.S. Samarathunga and Advisors to the Ministry of National Policy Planning and Economic Affairs, R. Paskaralingam and Charitha Ratwatte, will also be present to lend their expertise in facilitating this exercise.

This Forum will provide a live platform to address the procedural and regulatory issues and facilitate in finding on-the-spot solutions to uplift the doing-business environment in Sri Lanka.
