Rajiv Casie Chitty appointed to Commercial Credit Board

Rajiv Casie Chitty has been appointed to the Board of Commercial Credit and Finance Plc as an Executive Director.

Rajiv was appointed as a Chief Operating Officer of Commercial Credit and Finance Plc in February 2015.

He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK, and Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) UK and a Chartered Financial Analyst, USA. He obtained his Masters in Economics from the University of Colombo and won the Gold Award in Janashakthi CIMA Pinnacle Awards – 2006. 

He is also a Director at ACL Cables Plc, Royal Palm Beach Hotels Plc and Tangerine Beach Hotels Plc. He was a former Council Member of the CIMA Sri Lanka Division and former President of ACCA Sri Lanka.

B.G. Investments Ltd. holds 57% stake and Creation Investment Sri Lanka LLC holds 28.6% stake in Commercial Credit and Finance Plc.

With the latest appointment, the Board of Directors of Commercial Credit and Finance Plc comprises of C. Perera (Chairman), R.S. Egodage (Managing Director), S.K. Gunarathne, G.R. Egodage M.S.D. Pinto, H.N. Hemachandra, E.D.P. Soosaipillai, K.D.V. Weele, P.T. Fisher, and R.C. Chitty.
