Sri Lanka Post unveils stamp in honour of Rotary Intl Chairman Ravindran

Sri Lanka Post have issued a commemorative first day cover in honour of K. R. Ravindran – the first Sri Lankan elected to hold the office of Chairman of Rotary International in the history of Rotary movement. The event saw the patronage of Minister of Posts, Postal Services and Muslim Religious Affairs M. H. M. Haleem, at the BMICH recently. It said that an approximately 12 million Rotarians of 35,000 Rotary clubs  spread among  220 countries all over the world exist at present. Here the first day cover is presented to Rotary President Ravindran by Minister Haleem.
