23 LAHES students graduate in MSc HRM in Malaysia

23 students from LAUGFS Higher Education Services Ltd. (LAHES) graduated recently in Executive MSc in Human Resource Management at the Asia e University convocation held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Asia e University (Aeu) held its fifth convocation at Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for their students from all over the world. Approximately 5,000 graduates attended the graduation ceremony from 33 countries across the world. This also included 300 students from Sri Lanka who graduated in a number of streams such as Human Resources Management, Marketing, Accounting and Finance, Project Management, Executive MBA and General MBS.

“I would like to congratulate all our graduates in MSc HRM, who will now become part of a global network of professionals. We are delighted to be part of their success story and I’m sure this will help them tremendously to progress in their careers,” LAHES General Manager Hector Perera remarked.

Executive MSc in HRM is a program designed for working professionals from both HR and non-HR backgrounds alike, especially developed to enhance their knowledge in human resource management and help them advance successfully in their careers. It is based on eight core modules in HRM and can be completed in 12 months. Students can enrol at the beginning of any module, with the flexibility of completing the remaining modules with other batches.  Further, lectures are only conducted on Saturdays, giving added flexibility for working professionals, allowing them to balance their busy work schedule with lectures.“AeU is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities and is recognised by the UGC of Sri Lanka. Hence AeU programs are recognised both locally as well as internationally,” Perera commented. “All the students of LAHES are working adults in both HR and non-HR fields and some of them hold very senior positions in reputed public quoted companies. We ensure a good blend of students from diverse industries and backgrounds, which is essential for a post graduate program like this,” he further remarked.

Students of LAHES will have direct access to the Learning Management System and the E-library of Asia e University, allowing them to access some of the latest learning tools and refer the latest HR books and publications online.
