Gold Deo marketed by Hemas Manufaturing PLC, has announced the launch of Sri Lanka’s first ever experiential bus shelters in Colombo.

The bus shelters – located at Justice Akbar Mawatha in Colombo 2 and Bauddhaloka Mawatha opposite the British High Commission, allow commuters to experience the uniquely masculine fragrance of the new range of Gold Deo. They can experience the different fragrances of the Gold Deo range by means of the fragrance machines that have been installed at the bus shelters.

The Gold range of male fragrances and hair setting is the market leader in this competitive market and has been touching the lives of our consumers for over decades. The Gold product range consists of Gold Cologne with five sought after fragrances – Classic, Black Jeans, Cool Splash, Commando & Hot Splash, Gold Hair Gel/Hair Cream and the latest addition to the range being Gold Deo. A hero who saves the day…. makes the day… and gets the girl…! Is none other than our Gold Man!

Hemas Manufacturing PLC Senior Brand Manager, Fragrances Niroshini Perera said, “Innovation is at the core of our cultural ethos at Hemas, whether in terms of improving our manufacturing processes or in terms of product features. Our range of fragrances and grooming products are for daily use and is trusted and worn by those who care about grooming, enhancing their masculinity and appeal and is highly accepted. This new range of Gold Deo – Rave, Blaze, Storm and Challenge – was a result of our constant search for products that enrich the lifestyles of our consumers.”

Commenting on the unique experiential nature of this public installation, Perera added, “Our partnership with Grey Colombo is based on trust and results. We were excited when they suggested this route because it affords our consumers a fresh and exciting way of interacting with our new range of deodorants.”

Hemas Manufacturing Ltd. is a fully owned subsidiary of Hemas Holdings, one of the leading conglomerates in Sri Lanka with a focus on four key sectors, namely Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Healthcare, Transportation and Leisure.

Grey Colombo General Manager Dinusha Wettewe partnered with Richardson Outdoor, a specialist in out-of-home advertising solutions in developing this first of a kind unique experiential brand marketing activity, providing cutting edge ways for brands to touch the lives of the consumers. Gold Deo now gives the opportunity for the consumers to interact and offers a first-hand brand experience.
