International Symposium on ‘Towards National Pension Framework’ today

In commemoration of National Pensioners Day 2015, the Department of Pensions (DoP) will hold an International Symposium on the theme ‘Towards National Pension Framework’ today (8) at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, Colombo 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Speaker Karu Jayasuriya and Minister of Public Administration and Management Ranjith Maddumabandara will take part in the event accompanied by several other Cabinet ministers. Secretaries to the ministries, Government heads of departments, private sector organisations, INGOs, academics and researchers are expected to take part in the event with pensioners and civil societies. 

DoP expects to create a productive dialogue on the topic ‘Towards National Pension Framework’.
