LAUGFS Lubricants, the first and only home grown lubricant manufacturer in Sri Lanka, sponsored the recently concluded Seylan Colombo Motor Show 2015 as its main lubricants partner.

The Seylan Colombo Motor Show 2015 exhibition, held recently at the BMICH, is the largest international automobile event in Sri Lanka, bringing together global manufacturers, distributors, industry specialists, key-buyers as well as motor enthusiasts under one roof.

LAUGFS Lubricants participated at the event with the primary objective of educating motorists and vehicle users on effective use and maintenance of modern, new generation engines. Leveraging on their expertise in lubricants and vehicle engine performance, LAUGFS Lubricants engaged in many initiatives to educate the public on selecting the right type of engine oils for their vehicles in Sri Lankan conditions. The numerous endorsements on display at the exhibition from valued business partners and customers, as well as international Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendations were testament to the expertise and excellence in quality of LAUGFS Oil.

In addition, some of the other LAUGFS subsidiaries also took part in the event with their latest technology and service packages, demonstrating LAUGFS’s diverse portfolio of products and services serving the automobile industry. LAUGFS Car Care, the premier car service provider in the country, introduced its tailor-made service packages for corporate and retail customers while LAUGFS Eco Sri, a pioneer in air quality management, demonstrated the value of emission testing and how it promotes sustainability through energy and environmental preservation. LAUGFS Petroleum introduced its revolutionary NFC based fuel card, while waiving off the registration fee of the first 50 cardholders as a special promotion during the event.

Established in 2006, LAUGFS Lubricants is the only licensed lubricant manufacturer in Sri Lanka. The company revolutionised the local lubricants industry by launching the first Sri Lankan lubricant brand ‘LAUGFS Oil’ in 2008 and has the prestige of being the only Sri Lankan lubricant distributor with a license from the American Petroleum Institute.
