Atlas believes in encouraging children to realise their potential and that a better future can be unlocked through education. Atlas demonstrates its vision by providing quality user friendly tools (school and office stationary) to inspire them to enjoy each step of learning in the journey of life.

Taking another giant step in partnering parents and children Atlas, the leader in school stationary in Sri Lanka, recently launched school back packs under its corporate brand ATLAS to the local market.

ATLAS is a brand that is connected to the fabric of life in every home across the island and strives to understand and respond to the challenges and problems faced by parents and children in daily life. It is well known that children often have to carry a load of books to school and many have been the pleas of mothers to find a lasting solution to a comfortable bag that lasts the school year. Many children too have suffered back aches as a result of poor posture and the use of school bags which are not suitable for extended use with a high weight.

ATLAS Back Packs are designed with special features to provide optimum comfort, ease of use, and is produced with water resistant PVC material, with inner lining for enhanced durability.

The ‘comfy curve’ adjustable shoulder straps, is a special feature in the ATLAS back pack. They are padded with polyethalyn foam and not recycled material, and are covered with air mesh to limit perspiration and enhance the level of comfort. These are ergonomically shaped to give maximum comfort to the neck area. Air mesh and padding has also been added to the back panel of the bag to increase the air flow. This reduces perspiration and enhances comfort around the spine area. Air mesh and flexible piping has been added to side pockets to make it stretchable, which facilitates the ease of use. Accessories such as zippers and buckles have been secured from reputed sources, to ensure good quality. PP tape instead of woven tape, has been used for inner seams to enhanced strength, durability and neatness.

Produced locally under stringent quality control processes the ATLAS school back packs are produced in attractive designs suitable for both boys and girls. Commenting on the newest addition to the Atlas portfolio, the company’s CEO Hamza Muhammad said, “Now with the addition of the ATLAS school back pack we will provide students with a total solution for the school requirement. This product will enhance the lifestyle of students who face the task of carrying a heavy load of school books to class.”
