UPFA presents election manifesto to President

The United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) yesterday presented its election manifesto to Party Chairman, President Maithripala Sirisena.

The manifesto titled ‘Guarantee to the Future’ was presented to the President at his official residence. General Secretary of the UPFA Susil Premajayantha presented the Sinhala copy of the manifesto to the President and Anura Priyadarshana Yapa handed over the Tamil version.

UPFA seniors held lengthy discussions with the President on the development projects and socio-economic program that is expected to be launched under a future alliance government.

Several party members including Dinesh Gunawardena, Tissa Vitarana, A.H.M. Fowzie and D.E.W. Gunasekara were also present.
